johnny depp
Transcendence is a 2014 British-American-Chinese science fiction film directed by cinematographer Wally Pfister in his directorial debut, and written by Jack Paglan. The film stars Johnny Depp, Rebecca Hall, Kate Mara, Cillian Murphy, Paul Bettany and Morgan Freeman. Pfister's usual collaborator, Christopher Nolan, served as executive producer on the project.

Paglan's screenplay was formerly part of what is known as The Black List, a set of popular but unproduced screenplays in Hollywood.

At a presentation led by his wife Evelyn (Rebecca Hall) to attract potential sponsors, Will is shot by an anti-AI extremist. This occurs simultaneously with terrorist attacks on every other AI research facility in the world. Will survives the initial attack, but doctors discover that the bullet was laced with radioactive material, which will eventually shut down Will's vital organs, resulting in his death.

In desperation, Evelyn comes up with a plan to upload Will's consciousness, using the "quantum processors" of the P.I.N.N. project (the advanced artificial intelligence program they were working on). This would allow him to survive in digital form, stay with her, and complete the project. His best friend Max Waters (Paul Bettany), also a researcher, questions the wisdom of this choice, saying an incomplete download of Will's consciousness would not be Will, but something else, possibly catastrophically dangerous.

Despite rough beginnings, Will's likeness survives his body's death in the processors - and requests to be connected to the Internet so as to grow in capability and

Johnny Depp is usually money in the box office bank when it comes to making movies! He's had countless blockbusters likes Pirates of the Caribbean, Alice in Wonderland and Edward Scissorhands!
So what went wrong with The Lone Ranger?
Just as we suspected, Johnny doesn't really care!
He's standing by his western remake no matter what! Even if ticket sales are less than stellar. (Srsly though, most theaters showing this flick are so empty, they have tumbleweeds blowing through them!)
The UK got their chance this week to see Johnny and Armie Hammer up on the big screen together, and that's when the Tonto trouper got asked why he thought the film was failing. Johnny said:
"I don't have no expectations. But other people do. I think critics were especially upset that it didn't REALLY tank. You know what I mean? I think they were hoping that it would really take a dive."
Even though The Lone Ranger will be hitting a lot more theaters around

The Lone Ranger

The Lone Ranger is a fictional character: a masked ex-Texas Ranger who, with his Indian friend Tonto, fights injustice in the American Old West. The character has become an enduring icon of American culture.[7]
He first appeared in 1933 in a radio show conceived either by WXYZ (Detroit) radio station owner, George W. Trendle,[3][4][5] or by Fran Striker,[8] the show's writer.[9][10] It has been suggested that Bass Reeves, a legendary Federal peace officer in the Indian Territory (1875 - 1907), was the inspiration for this character.[11][12] The show proved to be a hit and spawned a series of books (largely written by Striker), an equally popular television show that ran from 1949 to 1957, and comic books and movies. The title character was played on radio by George Seaton, Earle Graser, and most memorably Brace Beemer.[8] To television viewers, Clayton Moore was the Lone Ranger. Tonto was played by, among
